Wow! This is one of my favorite items I’ve listed in a long time! I believe based on style and materials used, that this is a very art deco piece, from the 20s or so. Each of the clear beads (either a heavy glass or crystal) is cut in a cube shape, but it’s a rounded cube.. you’ll see what I mean in the photos. They graduate in size from little 1/4″ ones at the top to the largest at the bottom, at over half an inch. Between them are little black glass disc beads. They are strung with no clasp, and hand-knotted between each bead. It’s about 42″ long in total. It’s in excellent condition. It’s heavy, at about 5 ounces. This necklace looks like it’s seen some truly glamorous nights out! Authentic flapper style! This is a treasure!
