What a gorgeous necklace! It’s has a bunch of Polish sterling hallmarks on one side, including a G over 925, which I have looked up and believe it’s from the city of Gdansk, and I believe it’s from anywhere between 1986 through now. It The pendant is a large, beautiful chunk of Baltic amber, (tested and glows green under a UV light) with a black backing which really shows off the gorgeous inclusions and expected imperfections that make amber unique and beautiful. It has a pretty thick sterling silver slide setting. It’s on a multi-chain stiff necklace that’s 16″ long. I did not test the chains as I didn’t want to risk damaging them, but I did test the pendant, the clasp, and the other metal findings near the clasp and they are all sterling silver. The pendant is also marked at the top “Poland 925”. Just gorgeous, and in excellent condition! Please see photos for more details.
